  1. 5:50 it seems like an open and shut case. Nintendo isn’t saying Yuzu stole the keys so why should Yuzu be responsible for what other people do? Thats like saying if I jailbreak my iPhone and started downloading games, is the Jailbreak program responsible for allowing me to access content? Technically, no! They’re not supplying the content so they can’t be responsible for what happens after. Nintendo should be going after the places that has the stolen keys or places thats sharing those keys. Yuzu can be used to pirate games but that doesn’t mean they’re responsible for the cause. The cause is the places that has/stole/shares the keys while Yuzu is the effect or the result of the action. The case still suggests Yuzu is still at fault while not directly blaming them.

  2. Is Palworld next on Nintendo's chopping block? The Yu-zu case may have been cooking for a while before it was actually served.

  3. I dont think the sales are even down they just want more money so the fire people. They do the same thing in rrcord high years because they are an evil conpany.

  4. I went through the effort of using my own keys and my own ripped game. I just wanted to play totk with actual good framerate and upscaled resolution. Nintendo didnt provide that.
If they didnt want some to steal, then let us buy isos, buy keys, or put games on steam and this circumvents this whole thing..and they get paid for it..

  5. Ah! Nintendo already getting ready to release remastered versions of all the switch games at full price for the new console.

  6. Gaming has stagnated, All the big Triple A series of games are all games from the 360 and ps3. Companies would try to innovate and create new things and new genres to pull customers in, now all those big companies only want to produce games that will make max profit asap. There has been quite a few good games that came out but after 6 or 8 months companies stop supporting it because it's not making enough profit quickly. This is why you see so many Indie games blowing up, they are actually doing cool Innovating thing with a Quarter of the budget of somebody's triple A games. They end up being a slow burn that does make plenty of profit but that's not good enough for all the big companies now.

  7. NIntendo will have a field day at the court room, they don't go to loose, that's why they haven't sue Palworld yet, depending how yuzu was made they are going to have lots of trouble.

  8. I would love to see how much of the budget goes to payroll with game developers as a whole. Does spending more mean better quality? Honestly I would feel more sympathetic if they'd just ask for a grand price upfront for everything they will offer for a title. The sticker shock will be jarring but with dlc packs it's easy to spend 120 over the lifetime of its support.

  9. EA should have never left battlefront for battlefield… their sports stuff hasn’t gotten better since the days of the Wii. I don’t think APEX has the greatest future either… but it does have potential.

  10. I'll give the news about Nintendo suing Yuzu one compliment:

At least this has given us a break from the constant Switch 2 news/speculation.

  11. I just picked up my S this afternoon and the string of layoff news is building up a worry. I am sure the worry is more intense for those poor developers and workers.

  12. Mass lay off the 1% shareholders. – By socializing the video games industry.

i.e. Unionizing, transitioning to independent studios, opensource alternatives and public owned/domain options.

  13. I wish Nintendo takes down all the Online Content "Creators" like Youtubers, Fan Games, Fan Art, Mods, Emulation ….. (Everything Unlicensed Gone). If I ran a Company like Nintendo thats what I would do. They are stealing Nintendo's IP and they should go to jail.

  14. I don't understand why they don't just make smaller games. I can't remember the last time I really liked a triple A game other than what Nintendo comes out with. All of my favorite games are much smaller indie titles that are clearly working on fun first principals.

  15. ORGANIZE, UNIONIZE, SOCIALIZE

    – The wealth is generated by the workers.

    – The games industry driven by consumers.

    – The 1% shareholders are the problem and are useless overall, and on one needs them.

  16. A market crash is very different from a market correction. The current landscape looks more like a correction rather than a crash.

  17. oh no, the video game crash😴, no more games, everyone will be forced to read fictional books and become bussiness majors controlled by Repitilians

  18. Hats off to the Tekken devs for being (maybe brutally) honest to the players. 👍 The backend stuff cost money, who knew!??? 🤯🤣 Backend servers/cloud servers, internet pipes, patches/updates/dev support, etc. It all costs money! As games are so expensive now it's either a game sells crazy amounts of copies to support the backend OR! things like skins, added/pay to play items and the like, DLC packs/or "seasons" must happen to support said game and or backend. It is what it is, let's be real.

  19. If nintendo doesnt like piracy, they should maybe release their games on PC. No way am i going to play zelda totk in sub 720p 30 fps on a handheld with stick drift designed for the hands of children that give adults hand cramps after playing for 15 minutes.

Lmao the sheer ignorance of these suits at nintendo is pathetic. The people pirating their games arent even their target audiance and trying to stop piracy isnt just magically gonna make those Pirates start buying their crappy hardware and overpriced games.

You need a pc several times more expensive than a switch to emulate it properly and people are even buying 700€ steam decks to emulate switch better than the og hardware. Money isnt the issue here. Pirates have the money for a switch, they just dont want one.

  20. Can anyone even name a GOOD game that EA released in the past 15 years? Last game I can remember that wasnt a shameless cash grab or mediocre was dragon age origins?

  21. Battlefield is going to… Criterion? I.. uh, isn't.. Criterion on the Need For Speed side of things? They finally got a good Need For Speed where you can choose between the stupid brake to drift, and good handling, and they move Criterion away?

    Seriously?

    Dude.

  22. it has reached the point where now these companies could save a lot of money by sacking the coporate suits and stop dishing out obscenely large bonuses, of course the ceo's will never take a pay cut.

  23. Having emulators for legacy Consoles is for Gaming Preservation, I 100% agree. But lets not kid our selfs, if you have a Switch Emulator ur Pirating that has nothing to do with Preservation 😏

  24. That end of the PS2, Xbox to PS3 360 era can't possibly be the peak of gaming in my opinion. I remember it being often awkwardly trying to be hardcore and everything being way too brown.

  25. I agree 50/50 with the comment about putting out ps5 exclusives to PC is hurting Sony, right now I don’t care because I buy physicals. But the moment Sony and Xbox go „only Digital“ (PS6 perhaps?). Hello PC Handhelds and the steam life.

  26. Let's face it, emulation for current consoles is basically for piracy purposes. NO ONE is using these things to back up their games or anything like that. Yuzu should be taken down.
