I want to meet the marketing supervisor that was like “Yeah that’s badass put it on the product page, that’ll make people want to buy it for sure”

the cringe density of ASUS, ASRock and MSI marketing is extremely high too. supermicro is probably the only major motherboard manufacturer that doesnt have super cringy marketing.

it’s not that bad…

So is using cringe as an adjective.

Oh, come on… Just watch the GN video about the 4090 marketing. This shit is super popular now. My main gripe with his video is that he skipped Gainward’s masterpiece about the Night Baron who dwells in the darkness but for some stupid reason announces his existence to everybody with RGB.

Check out the marketing blurb for the Gainward 4090 Phantom.
They call it ‘The Night Baron’ 😂

Dogshit AI blurb.

Reminds me of the “alpha” kid scolding his teacher. “The falcon” 😭

I one day want to see someone with the Lucky the Sky Dragon, Winged Dragon of Aorus, Taichi the Tormentor cards with their ROG Eye and other legendary ROG gear win a card battle.
LordJambrek
People wanted charachters from 2000’s boxes back (like Ruby from ATi), they get it and now it’s a problem.
You should look at mug root beer recently god they are beyond cringe

Well this is stupid, falcons don’t even really hunt at night.
Shadow_Rimuru
Its not cringe, its just a cool paragraph. What is your issue with it?

Falcons don’t hunt at night, they’re diurnal.
They have falcons confused with owls.

I feel like companies need to do this more, as cringe as you may think it is, it really brings up creativity and brand uniqueness.
I would love to see a brand pop out a random 2 hours long full movie about RGB and ARGB transformer type bots fight, whoever does that is my next GPU upgrade.

It’s a bit insulting how they see their target customer. Maybe that works in far Asia…
