If they ever make a Cyberpunk 2077 live action movie, Robbie Amell NEEDS the role of V

    Yes, he does.

He is the ideal actor for a male V.

  2. CupcakeFister

In this day and age? Nah they’ll go Fem V

Edit: ya’ll are so triggered with these downvotes 😆

After what they did to my boy Geralt, I hope we never see live action V.

Just stop doing live action, let things thrive in digital and animation. Live action is always the worst medium for adaptations

I always thought that default V looked like Anthony Star (homelander)

Absolutely Not! Have you seen the guy’s acting? He’s not fit at all for this role.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Robbies and Stephens work (although Stephen’s kind of an asshole). What they did with code8 was remarkable. But Robbie lacks the kind of range male V would need.

And what this whole sub doesn’t realize is that we already have an actor for male V. The voice actor himself is an amazing actor with lots of range and has V’s antagonistic nature down to a T! The guy already has the voice down! And he also looks like V too.

Bruh, all these fan castings are the godawful equivalent of “All white/black/asian/etc. people look the same to me.”

There’s no need to retell a story that was already told. Cyberpunk live action would be fine, but with a new story and characters.

  9. butterhoscotch

He needs something better then code 8 since part 2 was bad

I think it should be Chris Pratt personally…..

  11. simondeanv2

They will do a fem v if they do a live action

  12. northwolf56

He looks like a good V.

I absolutely hate the vanilla male V character model. It looks “off”. Like very weak jaw and bland overall face.

People still don‘t know Hollywood not a single optimal cast ever happend so keep dreaming and think about Uncharted Cast 😂

A game that has as many choices as this one should never be adapted into anything. If they want to make a live action adaptation it needs to be its own story, like how Edgerunners was its own story. V’s story was written specifically to be a video game.

    Nah. This is wrong.

    Stamped and approved.

  16. Live action story within the Cyberpunk universe would be pretty awesome. However, I’d love for it to be a separate story from V’s.

I personally think it would be cool to have an 8 episode season 1 hour in length, where they focus on a character or the different gangs/corporations in Night City and have them weave together somehow.

No. No live action cyberpunk 2077. It should not exist even in the theoretical.

Also this guy looks nothing like V, especially. Can you imagine the outrage if they did a live action. Whether the actor was male or female a good number of boys would complain online and it would make all the sheep think the movie was not as good as it was.

    >Robbie Amell NEEDS the role of V

I, too, wish to see the complex character of V played by an actor best known for his performance in *Eat Wheaties!*

There is more to casting an actor in a role than their physical appearance. If you base the decision solely on their physical appearance, then you’re asking for a bad actor. If Steven Seagal looked like V, would you cast him in the role?

When Daniel Craig was cast as James Bond, there was an uproar because he’s blond when every Bond before him — and the image Ian Fleming had commissioned — has dark hair. But then *Casino Royale* released and all of that criticism was forgotten because even though Craig looked nothing like Bond, he absolutely nailed it. Most Bond fans consider his to be either the best or the second-best (after Sean Connery) portrayal of the character. Likewise Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. Sure, Johnny is blond in the *Cyberpunk RED* source book and looks like David Bowie, but Reeves absolutely nailed the performance.

Casting an actor in a role based on their looks alone is the stupidest decision you could make.

Tom Cruise could have done it back in the early 2000s

I want a netflix thing where we choose which lifepath to watch, then each lifepath is played by a different actor with quite varied storyline differences.

  22. Paradox31426

Ridiculous, Robbie Amell doesn’t look or sound a thing like Cherami Leigh.

  23. Pooppourriiee

Everybody has a different V mine doesnt look like this at all so if they ever make one it doesnt NEEDS to be him and it shouldnt have V at all as V is a character designed by player

  24. shadowclone515

Nah Jessie Pinkman is Streetkid V. Can’t change my mind yo.

  25. Amos_Burton666

Its create a character. Literally anyone could be V.

Man, I don’t wanna shit on anyone’s parade but I’m so tired of this kind of post. Not only would it be a completely pointless idea to do this particular story in live-action, but every time I see one of these fancasts it’s based on their appearance alone.

The perfect fan cast doesn’t exi-
