Honestly it’s nice to see a company listen to its player base

It’s a conundrum that will never go away.
-The game requires a constant connection to avoid piracy.
-The servers are shit, so the company ends up losing far more potential sales than they ever would have lost to piracy.

Misjudged the demand. Do they live behind the moon for the last 10 years or so?

Multiplayer is harder to implement than single player i guess and they started the hard way first so later it would be easier to work on. But props to the devs for actually listening to community.

This game at least has reasons to be always online. That way you can go into your friends world when they are offline. Something most of these types of games do not offer. This game is wonderful and is getting bad rep for no reason. The devs did a great job thinking outside the box with this one. don’t let the bad reviews keep you away from a wonderfully crafted game.

They should have just done what Palworld did and let you host dedicated servers. Solves the demand problem, and also would let users adjust server settings to their liking.
This would be especially helpful given that the game’s biggest issue is the sheer amount of materials required for even the most basic things. Being able to change the gather rate would be a blessing.
