First time downloaded reddit to ask how to solve the problem of attached pictures. How do I delete this file. I was checking my PC because I know even if you delete file from trash they are stored in file history. But I can’t delete those attached file in any way. Does anyone have a way to delete those..

    with that out the way, the shortcut (the file for which you have the properties displayed here) is just pointing to the downloads folder, so delete the file itself from your downloads folder and then delete the shortcut, then empty your recycling bin.

    after that, install [Malwarebytes free version](https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download), run a scan to double-check that there isn’t anything nasty, and remove anything it does happen to find. you should be fine.

    Back in like 2002 when I was 13 I downloaded something like this from Kazaa. Freaked out. Mom was gonna bust me, life gonna be over.

    Called Cox support (cuz they are tech support, right?) Guy was super nice and walked me thru it.
