The difference is that you know what you’re getting with the GPU for the most part. Raising a game’s base cost to $70 and getting a bunch of half baked garbage that you can’t return filled with micro transactions is the actual problem.

I know this is a joke, but it’s totally different. GPUs can last as long as you can tolerate the performance. New game releases are hardly worth $60 dollars, let alone $70 dollars. Most of my Steam keys were purchased extremely heavy discount.
When console games were priced $59.99 I had some pause before purchasing. Now $69.99? Nah I’m good.

I mean i know im not the only one who knows GTA6 is gonna be a buggy micro transaction infested mess that will be barely playable by any the time it gets to pc and i know that it’s going to be the highest grossing game of all time if rockstar make the decision to make it live service the servers will crash with the amount of people that will be playing its sad that we have these people that complain about yakuza being 70$ but then proceed to buy what will be a probably 70-200 game
