This is a dumb comparison and the Coffin absolutely deserves to be ridiculed.For this and just being a bad game. (Rant incoming sorry).
CK3 is a Medieval grand strategy game where incest is just 1 mechanic. It isn’t the focus, and given it’s historical makes sense. It doesn’t show more than an icon in a character’s portrait and you physically can’t do it until they’re 16 (doesn’t make it okay but again, these are medieval times and a lot of things back then were barbaric).
BG3 is a fantasy RPG where these things are – again – just 1 tiny part of the whole product. Yes they promoted the Bear sex scene because it’s funny and gets people talking, but the game isn’t a bear sex simulator. The bear is also a literal man who did consent.
Compare this to the Coffin which is 100% about the sadistic relationship these 2 siblings have that – regardless of if the scene is there – is clearly more than just siblings. The game relies solely on shocking you and offers no genuine emotions or gameplay mechanics like the other 2.And while the drow sex scene is odd and CK3 has incest, neither of them show you the perverted, abusive context surrounding them, and can be played without interacting with those segments at all. The Coffin only has that because it’s not meant to be a game, it’s meant to be controversial.
This is like comparing a shriveled, rotten orange to the apple that was so good it made Eve betray God.
(I went off the rails a bit so I apologize but I dislike how people misinterpret the conversation around this game as just some Puritans hating freedom)

I just don’t care about CAL because the fans and haters alike just shoved the whole incest thing into everyone’s faces. And with BG3, EVERYONE talks about the fucking sex and the romances and the “waifus” that it just gets so fucking exhausting to hear about. It really didn’t help when the developers themselves leaned into the horny aspect instead of the worldbuilding and the gameplay in their trailers. The game looks great though, and I really want to try it but I’m definitely not joining any groups or subreddits so I can avoid the horny animals.

My guess is that gameplay wise both BG3 and Crusader king offer a lot more while coffin is basically a shock value VN I ain’t saying it’s bad but you are there for the story and if the story just looks lame like it did for me there’s nothing else to redeem the game because their relationship is a big part of it.Meanwhile BG3s it’s completely optional content you don’t have to Interact at all and in crusader kings you have the backbone of s really good strategy game and the “incest” is a tactical choice more than something you are actively involved with. If the incest bothers you in coffin that’s about it for you cause their relationship is all there is there’s no ignoring it and incest is something that feels more grounded than cannibalism for most people
