    Additional photos [here](https://share.icloud.com/photos/03bujbD9yb-Qgv13x0b6iH1-Q). I spend 8 – 12 hours in here a day, and I need the room to serve many functions. The room, especially my desk / chair setup, I hate. Uncomfortable to be at, unpleasant to look at.

    * Dell U3223QE Monitor
    * Ultimate Hacking Keyboard
    * Audioengine 5+ speakers and and Audioengine D1 DAC (for music) connected to macbook.
    * Cheap Logitech speakers (for gaming) connected to PC.
    * Custom WS2812 LEDs
    * Keylight AIr

    Keep the chair. Extend the butcher block table so that it’s end to end. Need more storage. I would do table to ceiling storage but that’s a lot of work.

    Here’s Disney imagineer workspace with over 100 patents for inspiration. Yours look similar

    The bones of your space are nice but you’ve got a lot of clutter and mismatched furniture. Some recommendations:
    – Shelving or cabinets where you can put more of your supplies out of sight.
    – Tidy up your cables, too many are visible.
    – If matching wood isn’t an option could you stain your current tabletops so the furniture is closer in color?
    – Overhead lighting is depressing. Lamps would go a long way.
    – There’s nothing organic in your space. A plant or two, even fake ones would brighten things up.
    – Maybe paint the wall behind your workstation an accent color.

    Definitely suggest painting the walls and adding in more things that mean something to you. I see that Saturn v and def recommend more models and things that you can touch and play with

    The PC workstation looks like an afterthought. It’s tiny and crammed. I’d have the butcher block going the length of the wall, and maybe center your workstation in the middle of it. Hide the wires, maybe put in more shelves and better organize things. Hide the wires. There’s a lot going on here, but I think with some work you can make this ascetically pleasing and much more comfortable to work in.

  6. extend the butcher block table and paint all the cabinets underneath the table the same color
