    Steam deck modding went from installing hall effect joysticks and a better fan, to now we adding discrete gpus to it.

    probably not the most price efficient way to get gaming, but I could see this being useful in some scenarios.

    Steam decks are $500ish depending on what you get. a 6500xt would be $250. Once everything is added up you could potentially build a pc for that, but you’d lose out on the portability of the steam deck. So this is like an advanced dock for more performance with out buying another CPU, MB, RAM, etc. I could see this being a viable option for some people.

    You could have saved yourself atleast $100 and gotten a raspberrypi to mod instead
