Hello! so ive been doing a bit of overclocking with my rig and currently i have it as -30 with the curve optimizer, right now ive been testing for the last day and half for stability, doing my usual, i was playing doom eternal and completed a mission and i went ahead and checked hwinfo to see how my cpu was holding up, temps etc and I some how got as high as 8.1 MHz and while I do not think that was the average noooo way, thats no way sustainable, my guess is that it maybe happened while in a loading sceen maybe? but how is it even possible to go that high without crashing? I’m hoping someone more knowledgeable could answer that since im really wondering how, i appreciate any answer, thank you in advance!

ah yes, 8.1 MHz in the title. it must be the 7800X3D SLC Super Low Clocked
