This is how I felt until I played Baba is You. No game has ever made me feel so smart and so dumb at the same time. It’s just a terrific puzzle game.
Also while not the best puzzle game I’ve ever played, I think Gorogoa is criminally underplayed. It’s so unique and beautiful and everyone should play it.

Speaking purely as a puzzle game, I agree that Portal is the best.
Personally, I’d say The Talos Principle is my favourite. Great puzzle game with an unexpected dose of an existential crisis about consciousness and what it means to be human.

Desperately hoping for a Portal 3 that I know will never happen. I’d love for them to incorporate a “creation” mode where players can design their own puzzles. I love these games to death but years later I still know how to solve them. A creation mode would give us endless puzzles!
