activision, as usual, are full of shit. if they banned 6000 accounts, then monday morning they had 9000 new accounts.

Richochit genuinely one of the worst Anti-Cheats which is fitting for one of the worst FPS franchises currently on the market.

I tried playing world at war not that long ago. I know it’s an old game, but it was one of my favorites in the series.

Honestly gaming online is more fun when you are just playing with friends, either a small number of people you know IRL or even just people you know online but that you actaully have some kind of connection and ongoing friendship with.
Playing against/with random people on the internet is just not the same. You either run up against a bunch of people who are too good because all they do is spend time playing games, or your run up against cheaters, or just people who have spurt out random insults at anything and everything and then just cry when they lose. It’s not a fun experience at all in my experience.

Cheaters will be the downfall of the popular PvP FPS genre on PC. When a hack becomes so easy to get, and inconsequential, because you can buy another key cheap and get right back in if you’re banned, more people will do it, just to keep up with other cheaters and it’ll become a gong show.
This is like what happened in bicycle racing when everyone started using steroids, because they had to compete with every other racer using steroids.
When another game (APEX) is better at detecting cheats for CoD than CoD itself, you know something has got to be fishy…
