Lol I built a new PC in 2015. I cleaned it exactly zero times.
The only thing I ever did is clean out the dust filter in the front maybe twice.

Just repasted my gpu for the first time since 2019. Was surprised at how little dust was beneath the shroud.
PSU on the other hand was strugglin’.

It’s insane how much difference a good case with dust filters can make. I used to clean my old pc with a 30 eur case every 6 months and it would be insanely dusty, now I have a 70 eur case with filters and whenever i open it up it has very little dust

I clean my desktop monthly lol. I’m used to gaming laptops where you kinda had to clean them that frequently.

I bought a new case and psu when I got my last gpu upgrade and when I swapped everything holy fuck the dust that built up in my nhd15 in the 3 years since I bought it.
I keep telling myself I need to buy one of those air compressors but never get around to it.
