I gotta give it another try, I couldn’t get the hang of the rhythm, and they throw A LOT of tutorials at you early on. But I didn’t give it a fair chance to click. I’ll have to play it while it’s still on game pass.

Anyone with a Playstation shouldn’t sleep on this game. Its so charming and unique. Its hard to believe it came from devs hot off of two horror games.

As an Xbox owner I’ll say fuck games only being on certain systems, just let us gamers play. Also it wouldn’t hurt the devs to allow them to sell their games to more people? Sony, Xbox and especially Nintendo can suck eggs because us gamers are the ones who suffer.
Also cross-platform, all multi-player games should be cross-platform, fuck not being able to play with my PS5 owning friends.

I really, really enjoyed this game while I was playing it, but I kid you not, I forgot about it almost entirely within a week of seeing the credits ran. I don’t think I’ll return to it, either. I don’t know if I’m not the audience for it or what, but it just didn’t stick with me the way I thought it would. It reminded me of Kingdom Hearts without the convoluted story (well…AS convoluted) or Disney characters.

I played it for 40-60 min on game pass but didn’t understand what exactly set this game apart from other 3d hack/slashers it didn’t seem to me at all the rhythm elements actually mean anything is the rhythm mechanics just for people trying to get the highest rank ? or was it just not introduced to the gameplay elements in the amount I played ?
I played it just a bit further than the circular park area with benches where it still tells you the mechanics to me it didn’t really seem to make any difference what I did timing wise or flow of combat I believe I played it on normal setting
