The RTX 5000 is usually found cheaper than that around $1400. That’s the turing model from 2019 and the last of the Quadros using PCIe 3.0 x16 with 16GB VRAM. Although this looks like a specialized 2 card kit it still seems expensive depending where you acquired it.
The RTX A5000 is going for around $2200 new right now which is the 24GB ADA Ampere version from 2021. Then there’s the RTX 5000 ADA that was released last summer which is the 32GB ADA Lovelace version. That’s about $5-6000 depending on where you get it.
Just upgraded to the RTX A5000 in my CAD station a few weeks ago and had to research these stupid fucking naming schemes.
That’s cool! Running Vmix or some other streaming software? Or does it actually push the content to the video wall as a Video Processor in place of say a Novastar?
Just curious what kind of video wall and what’s the use case for that?
Only reason I ask, I currently run 2 workstations with dual A6000s to drive my big Sony wall at work. Thing is 32′ x 9′ so effectively a double wide 4k screen covering the wall that we use for model reviews and simulations. I love my job lol
