When this game released I intended to play through and platinum the game, unfortunately disaster struck and last spring I had a stroke which almost killed me, and despite surviving left me with severe cognitive issues, extended hospital stays, and permanent disability and epilepsy.
Due to this my quest for this platinum was put on held, and the game left half complete.
A week ago, bored and not really knowing what to do with myself (honestly this new inability to work drives me insane, it’s so incredibly boring) I decided to finally beat the challenge that this disability stopped me doing. So I loaded up my initial save, finished the story, and got all those damn collectibles. It took time, it took dedication, and a lot of frustration due to the aforementioned cognitive issues. However I did it, and I got that final collectible.
So then I mopped up Hufflepuff and Slytherin (my fiancée had already started a Raven law save), and the achievement popped.
I don’t know why, but this is a special platinum for me. A trophy which just seems more important than any other I have ever achieved. “Magical” (pun intended) if you will.
As a result I wanted to share this one with you all, as it’s truly made my year and made me feel like I can still achieve things despite this disability however small.

Good on ya! I know how hard it can be to pick yourself up and do anything that used to be fun after dealing with some shit like you’ve been through.
I truly hope you’re giving yourself the much deserved credit of getting up and accomplishing something that makes you happy.

I had a stroke last year too trust I’m still trying to recover from. It’s a horrible experience.
I’ve found it can be hard to continually keep pushing yourself rather than just accept things as they are so good on you for getting the Platinum- it’s a hell of an achievement and, for what it’s worth, this internet stranger is really proud of you

As much as I’d love to give positive feedback on this post, I feel it is more important to bring everyone’s attention to the post history of OP. As pointed out by others in this thread, there is reason to believe a disingenuous nature to this post due to the troubled history of OP. OP needs help in many aspects at this moment, and not with money and/or gaming recognition. OP is nowhere near a state of congratulations.
I do not want to blight this post with only negativity but on this worldwide web it is easy to miss the bigger picture and also easy to seek (and receive) attention in an unhealthy manner.
All I can say to this is that I hope OP will seek professional help and address his issues in a healthy manner rather than numbing himself through games and seeking help for SERIOUS issues from unreliable sources. This is not the right way, and any congratulations given AT THIS MOMENT will only contribute to more uhealthy habits.

Just from reading a few of your comments it’s seem like your disabilities are mostly hand eye coordination. If you haven’t tried role play games like D&D or Pathfinder I would strongly recommend them. If you have a half decent imagination they give you a way to escape reality and be whatever it is you want. They have definitely got me through some tough times.
