I managed to get my LM delided i7 4790k on a Arctic Freezer 33 with a single Arctic P120 fan to 4.7Ghz at 1.43V, CPU Input Voltage is 1.95V. Yes I know, voltage is super high and under a 10min Cinebench R23 test, it never crashed and is stable in gaming. Max temp was 95c with 2100RPM fan which is high but the cooler ain’t made for a 160W CPU.
Any toughts what I could OC to squeeze more performance? Was thinking of getting a new case and Noctua NH-D15 for future build and to squeeze maybe more performance out of this chip.
I never OC’d the cache and I read online that some people OC Ring but I have no idea what that is nor could I find it in BIOS.
