  1. I’ve decided to go ahead and purchase the Torrent Design Fractal PC Case for my setup. I’ve been eyeing it for a while now, and I think it’ll add a nice touch to the overall aesthetic.

Additionally, I’m going to grab another monitor like the one on the left so I can swap out the right one and make them match.

Nice nook. How about wall to wall shelf above the gear.

  3. I might be seeing things, but I think both desks are flexing. Maybe add legs in-between the drawers.

Add some shelves on top of the desks. Add posters or something too, make it less of a plain white wall. Make it cozy!

  4. German_setups

Get a 2nd and 3rd fan for the left pc. Add some pictures or akusticpanels to the wall. Get some lights, maybe some shelfs with plants and most important: CHAIRS!

My gf and I have a nearly identical setup to yours but we opted to use the Saljan countertops as the desk part, felt it will be less likely to warp over time if that’s a concern. Otherwise, y’all need some stuff on those walls!

Place your towers on a mounted shelf, preferably with straps and brackets to secure it in place, that way you’ll free up some desk space.

You’ve got potential for great wall art, neon lights, posters and hanging shelves for nick knacks and such. Rugs can also help section off spaces, if it’s in budget, I’ve seen some cool custom nerdy rugs that’ll really pop in your space.

I’m partial to having my monitors on arms, that way I can claim as much desk space as possible, it also makes it easier to wipe dust and spills. If you don’t mind dust buildup, or wiping around monitor stands, disregard. Another note on space saving, ikea pegboards are great for holding anything that might take up desk real-estate, something to consider before hanging anything up on the walls.

I recommend getting foot rests, sitting for long periods of time can be hard on your lower back, make sure to prop your feet up, it can help alleviate discomfort.

If it’s in budget, put a mini fridge with liquids nearby, dehydration can creep in after hours of gaming.

You definitely need a cool piece of wall art that shows off both your personalities.

  8. Youssef-Elsayed

You definitely need monitor arms, wood dining tables are an excellent alternative to those desks

  9. TinnyKirovsky

Do you really really really need so many monitors? It feels a bit cramped.

  10. Crazy95jack

Chairs then Monitor arms. we need more information what you are looking to improve?

  11. neophilosopher

My only advice: do not try to take the 3-monitor one to yourself, otherwise sooner or later you’ll be in serious trouble 🙂

Ooops, the color of the headphone suggests that you took the wrong pill, sorry…

  12. M4tt_M4n

More color, posters lights anything to make it less… White

  13. Jockmeister1666

My advise is to spend your money equally if you wanna share that kinda time with your mrs 😉

  14. TechnicalContact6182

Light strip behind the desk, stuff on the walls, cute desk pads, whoever has the tripe monitors spin one vertically so it’s less cramped

  15. AnonymousRedditor909

Do you guys have neck problems? Because mine is hurting just looking at the monitor setups.

  16. Mysterious-Scale-259

I can tell those are ikea tops, should’ve went more expensive and got the karlby, those desk bend and will eventually break, I’ve had the karlby for 3 years and not even a slight Ben had happened

  17. halpenaro

add some light panels or shelves on the wall! or lightstrips below the desks to warm up the space a little.

  18. RedHotBananaGuard

Some plants on shelves, monitor arms, some art, maybe move pics in a way to create more open space? Wife and I started with a setup like this and really enjoyed having our monitors run together through the middle. We could easily show things to each other that way. Just thoughts.

  19. Cheeetooos

A nice cozy paint color like a dark green would go a long way. I would also put the PCs on the floor and a shelf or wall hanging above the PCs on the wall.

  20. GeorgeThe13th

Add some personality to the walls… Chairs?? lol

  21. Mikey_VT

    Ikea:
2x Säljan Work Plate (available in several different Colours)
2x Olov Leg (the Adils could also work)
Depending how nice you want to make it add some Billy Shelves 40cm wide or Gnedby 20cm wide and less deep, between Desk and Wall. Like one in each Corner and than another one or 2 in the Middle. Over your Monitors some Shelves for Figures, Plants, etc. Maybe add a Light Strip on the Backside of the Deskplate or underneath it.

Monitor Arms, Foot Rest or whatever its called in English, Wood Floor,

  22. The monitors do not have enough room imo. I’d say remove the PCs from the desk, however you see fit. People have suggested a few options, but this would make the biggest difference and give you more space. Then you can decorate and add anesthetics, but right now you need to fix the clutter first.

  23. Jexinat0r

Cotton clouds layers on top of rgb strips

  24. Senior_Argument_6239

replace the carpet, maybe stick w wood flooring, would look even cooler, add some rgb lights here and there and some lego decoration on the wall, maybe get two gaming chairs since it should be hard to work while standing all the time

  25. nexuswow

I’ll do some room decoration, like putting up some frames on the wall, google Displate, they got some awesome metal posters.

  26. bigboycdd

Obviously you need 5,000 led strips, a custom 3d wall, and maybe space lasers. /s

  27. Educational-Ruin3006

I would say to get some good lighting, don’t know if anyone else has said. An all white base is amazing for RGB.

  28. Doomalope

This looks like where hostage videos are made.

  29. Add some secondary lighting (lamps or even something like leds/nanoleaf ). Shelving helps with displays and extra storage. You can even paint just the back wall as a feature wall kind of vibe. Add a plant for some added oxygen (snake plants are good and very resilient – they don’t need much to thrive). Someone else said it in here but the monitor arms change the game. Best of luck
