almost finished the setup
just waiting for the MSI 27QRX
and also I still have 4 nanoleaf to set but I really don’t know where , knowing I will put a shelf above the screen later in the year.
do you have some advice ?
On the wall? Sorry but it’s really hard to say without having the monitor or the shelf in place

Store it in your mouth meanwhile

Dont ruin ur setup with nanoleaf

This looks so nice it would be a shame to ruin it with tacky “gamer” lighting. Skip the leaves

Haters gonna hate. If done well Nanoleaf panels can be great. Really only two choices above the monitor horizontally or on the left wall vertically. If you’re going to do a shelf then probably on that left wall then.

what desk/desk top is that

Beautiful desk. Is that the plate from Ikea?

How about a painting hung overtop the desk instead?
Your setup is clean, I personally wouldn’t ruin it with Nanoleaf.

I found the best place for nanoleafs are at an angle and not right in front of you, so maybe the side wall

I say skip the nanoleaf. I installed a Govee light bar on my setup and kinda hate it to be honest.

While many of the commenters seem to have missed the “where” and focused on the “should”…..
I believe the Nanoleaf app lets you mock up the shape and then preview it in your room using your camera. I think some places that sell furniture have similar features.
That would allow you to see different layouts and positioning before committing.

maybe buy a main monitor first? jk…IMO nanoleaf or any other lights are distracting if you put them in a place where you can see it with your peripheral vision, so either right on front or somewhere you cant see it at all, just my 2c
