Cool to see people actually using the ARC GPUs. Great value tbh and Intel seems the be comitted to the plattform.

Welcome to Team Blue, I hope you enjoy your A770 as much as I do!
VulpesIncendium
Interesting choice. What made you choose the Arc A770 instead of something equivalent from NVidia or AMD?

3770k and a 970. I rocked that for like 5-6 years before I finally did a full upgrade and rebuild.
Those parts had no reason being reliable. Then again all I did was play Halo MCC from its release in 2019(PC) to Infinite’s release.

What would be the equivalent card from the other 2 brands? I’m looking to upgrade and would like to try something new
KlingonBeavis
I used a 3770K all the way to 2020. Even had the liquid cooler they sold with it for a while – a single 120mm fan Asetek with a pump that lit up with a blue Intel logo. That CPU was a champ.

I genuinely like the design of those Sparkle cards. I hope Intel pulls through with Battlemage

I find it super funny that Intel is putting so much stock into overclocking now, when they were so against it before. 🤭

I’ve always and always will like people that do things differently, enjoy the build ✌️

I definitely wanna go intel gpu in the future, probably the 2nd gen if and when it comes.

Actually curious about those cards and why people would pick them over Nvidia or amd?

Been thinking about this card for a while. I’m glad to see someone into it. I was really thinking about pairing it with an i3 build.

Intel! I haven’t used them yet but I keep hearing good things about it.

Where can I get one of those sparkle GPUs? I’m in Canada!

970 was a great card. Pour one out

I’m happy for you OP! What other parts are you waiting for?
Necessary-Cap-3982
Been thinking of switching my 970 for an a770 or a750
How is it?

Hoo boy, you’re in for a treat. I hope you got some PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives to go with it. I upgraded from an i5-3570K and a GTX 970 to an i5-12600K and an RTX 3060 TI with a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB (should have gone straight to the 2TB for the higher thresholds). The speed difference is incredible.

congrats, But remember to activate rebar in the BIOS!
