This is a diy, but I’m trying to go for this. I want my setup to go into the living room. I’m just looking for a desk that has shelves on the outside. All I can find are those stupid gaming desks
That desk is amazing. You say DIY, what did you throw together to accomplish this?

WOW, this desk is incredible!!! I like how you have ample space for your computer…. AND can turn and use the diskspace to read, write, whatever!!!
Looks like a Presidents/professor’s desk!!! 🙂

Desk is amazing but no battle station yet 😀

I thought this was the Air Force subreddit. This looks just like the huge a** desks officers have in their offices.

I don’t think you’ll find anything like this, even executive desks don’t have shelves on the back. You would have to build it, are you wanting an L shape desk with the diagonal bit like this? If so the best bet might be to get a desk with that and find shelves that fit under it or in front of it. If you’re ok with straight corners you could use something like the husky countertops from Home Depot and attach them onto the top of some bookshelves.

That’s a DIY jobbie based on a bunch of Ikea Kallax (or Expedit) shelves. Buy shelves, have a kitchen counter top company cut the desktop to measure. Probably <$500 for everything. It’s a great setup. If you get this made by a carpeter, probably 3x-5x the cost.
I am refurbing my home office. This tends to be the choice: Shit gaming desks (no!), afforable ikea DIY thing or expensive custom cabinetry.
