About of this video's video game franchises, Tomb Raider is 1 of franchises what i'm interested of the most now defienitily for just relased Tomb Raider 1 2 3 Remastered collection. Sadly there's no a physical copy but i' fine with that because a digital version is cheap but is Tomb Raider Remastered collection really worth it because I've seen and heared it have the worst controllers. By the way my Top 10 video game franchises are these: Super Mario, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, Sonic the Hedgehog and Sly Cooper are my favourite video game franchises with the most reboots. Tomb Raider Legend had one sequel: Underworld. The follow-up, Anniversary, was a remake of the first game and therefore not connected at all.
They need to remake the Legacy of Kain series.
Gonna stop you right there- Mortal Kombat 1 ISN'T a reboot, because it is a continuation of the story as established in the previous game. It may be a reset of the timeline in-universe, but the game itself doesn't really qualify as a true reboot. IMO, at least. Same goes for FF7R. Neither game's story functions without the existence of what came before it (the preceding MK game or the original FF7). I wouldn't even say either qualify as a soft reboot for this reason, as it is more strictly accurate to regard them as continuations in the series.
Spyro comes to mind with the original trilogy, the legend trilogy series and the skylander series

If you ask me, Nintendo should've continued the Star Fox series from Assault (completely disregarding Command) instead of trying to reboot it with Zero.
I thought Assassin's creed will be here to be honest. AC 1-3 being similar, AC4 and AC Rogue being fresh start, AC unity and Syndicate being another start, then atlast the newer RPG trilogy being the most recent reboot.

I wouldnt say that Need For Speed has reboots because a part of the NFS community agree on the theory that Ryan Cooper (main character from NFS Pro Street) is the main character from classic NFS Most Wanted up until Need For Speed (2015), there arent solid proofs I should say but it makes sense that Ryan has came a long way and made a name for himself, he's even mentioned in NFS Payback etc.
