Solution: remove the YouTube app, get Firefox, add the unlock origin extension, sign in on the YT website, watch videos without the ridiculous bombardment of ads. Really, this wouldn’t be necessary if yt hadn’t gotten so greedy.

What really annoys me is paying for YouTube premium ; watching something streamed to the TV with my wife, then she says “let me put this on”, so she streams and bam, advertisements.

I swear Youtube KNOWS if your Google account uses an adblocker elsewhere… Anytime I use Youtube on my phone, it’s a guarantee: 2 ads per video (music videos included).
