You werent paying attention playing the game, when doin the satelite mission you can press R1 on ps to have your character audibly shout the direction the dish should be facing to whoever is turning it,heres my review of this game-its so much fun its sickening.
7:00 when he is talking about the ping system, and the one objective with the radar dish, if you are on the terminal you can ping the direction the dish needs to face, the character will call it out "North!" "South west!"
I kind of wish that there was a mode where on a large map 20 or 30 people would either half to hold off a massive horde or take a fortress from an army.
hopefully when the mechs comes back they'll also include rep90(repair/heal gun) it was almost necessary to have that support stratagem on helldives back in hd1.
Don't disagree on any particular point. What won me over, aside from the very fun and interesting gameplay, is two more minor things.
First of all, it's a really cool military aesthetic that takes a LOT of details into account. From the amount of weapons you have to the way they function, you can tell someone really wanted to nerds to have fun with this. The addition of crew-served weapons is something I've rarely seen in any shooter. Reload stages like emptying a magazine, inserting a new one, and charging the weapon each being a different point at which an animation can start if you cancel it, that's a really neat mechanic that I love working around.
Second is something I'm hoping gets expanded upon in future updates, customization of weapons and armor. Stratagems are well fleshed-out, but I expect more to be added on those two fronts as well. Some cosmetic customization like colors wouldn't go unwanted, especially given the variety of pieces you can combine from all the warbond sets. The fact you're not pressured to buy any of it is also a bit insane to me nowadays, but extremely welcome and appreciated.
I was a HUGE fan of the first Helldivers (max level and all unlocks/upgrades), and even I'm blown away by how good Helldivers II is… and even MORE astounded by the mass acceptance of it. It's just so rare when a sequel lives up to expectations, and even rarer when they exceed them. Arrowhead Games has absolutely CRUSHED IT. πͺπ
your point about the radar dish is a bit wrong, if you are on the terminal you can hit a button that calls out the direction and if you listen while turning it after they call it out then it will make a noise when in the right spot
Repetitive maps? Your kidding? Nope. No support builds? There are very heavy support builds, cc, sheilding team mates, medic… Did you play the game before writing the script?
The satellite dish makes a sound when itβs in the correct setting. You can also just look at where the satellite has to be,run to the satellite yourself and set it in the correct direction
I just finished a game and we failed miserably. And took basically the entire mission time to utterly fail. I had a blast! Watching the last Diver fight for their life for a good solid minute before getting obliterated with only 30 seconds left is the most memorable gaming moment I've had in a long time. This game is going to be great.

Playing this until dragons dogma 2πππ
There is a sound effect the terminals make when you get the dish into the right spot
It should be a requirement to play a game more than 10 hours before writing a review.
First support patch>camera crew
Straight up just took that that review name from Resetera, huh?

0:40 10 hours? Rookie numbers. That's first day and a half numbers.

Iβve been an Xbox only player for 15 years or so and this is the game that has me genuinely contemplating purchasing a PS5. It looks phenomenal.
i'm actually scared to try this because i can't afford the time to be addicted to a game right now π£
The most democratic game ever
They only need to add a Ukrainian and an Israeli soldier
Love helldiver2
Good job with the review

Best co-op I've played in a long time. Having loads of fun spreading democracy with the boys. Doing my part π½
Once they get the server issues sorted, which they will, this game is going to do nothing but get better.

…there's a chat system and with terminal there's a button to yell out which way to point the dish
Is it me, or does he sound like he doesn't like the game. Maybe you need some more Liber-teaaaa!!!
So Far GOTY for me. Just incredible

6:39 Wait…How do you open that radial menu on PS5? Does anyone know? π€
The map design is anything but representative if you bother to go to different planets
We need Medic/Reviver π
I hope they add ship missions flying foes and some hand to hand combat
Look at this maniac playing with a controller when he doesn't have to.
"Play time: 10 hours" stops video. Not enough time hahahaha
