I don’t understand the point of the USB hub. Who has a case with 8 front USB ports? With the modern trend of removing all expansion slots from the front and including extremely minimal amounts of front IO, that USB hub seems more like something that belongs in a computer from 15 years ago.

I like it! I love when PSU manufacturers think outside the box, just like the Corsair PSU with sockets on the side or the Seasonic case, which has all the sockets next to the motherboard. It will diffently have use for specific builds.

Why is Lian Li releasing proprietary parts?
QueenNowy
That’s gonna look sooo sweet in a Lian Li case. I wonder if those are powered USB or something
Evening_Tough93
Has lian li gone too far?
ewenlau
That’s very cool.

I wonder how useful that is in practice compared to something like the corsair shift and a normal setup.
GameCyborg
seems like a better solution that that power supply with the connectors on the side
ssalp
But why? (no seriously, I’m asking why)

If it gives me more room mush my cables into the the case, I’m here for it.

Hmmm. That could be useful. Just better hope it fits in your case without conflicting with anything.

Damn…so we basically get the NZXT USB hub built into the PSU now. If it’s not substantially more expensive compared to buying a normal PSU and the hub, I’ll totally get one.

I hope one needs to do a 180 with the 12VHPWR cable

So the psu turns 2 usb ports into 8. Who the hell needs 6 more usb ports than the 2/4 most motherboard offer? Also who came up with the idea of combining a psu and a usb hub? Why would those two devices need to be combined into one?
Other than that, for those who can take advantage of this psu’s features, it should be a fantastic unit.

Ok but why? Genuinely curious what the use of a L shaped PSU would be
Emmett203
What could you possibly add on a pc that would need 1300W of power?
