Just upgraded from rtx 1050 to gtx 4070, and from 720p to 1440p. It’s insane. Also I got used to it alarmingly fast.
You held out longer than I did, I did the 1050 ti to 3080 ti, and in doing so I’m also on AM4 so the 5800X3D was my final processor upgrade for this rig. Going to see if I can hold out till the 7000 series cards before I get the itch to do a new full build lol.

I went from a GTX 950 with i5 8th gen BARELY pushing 60 fps 1080p in any game on low settings to a 6950xt with a 7700x on 1440p max settings pushing well over 144 frames. It’s a game changer. Your setup is even better than mine so I can imagine the fun you’re about to have. Get yourself a 240hz oled monitor next! (That’s what I’m aiming for)

My self went from a 1050ti to 6700. the 50ti was an amazing gpu, but it just cant even do 1080p anymore. Enjoy your gaming brother
