I’m really surprised to hear that given the departure of Jim Ryan. He seemed to be the person who believed most in the PlayStation to PC expansion.

  2. Happygamer1000

Does that mean PS5 games going forward will release at the same time on PC?

  3. gtadominate

If games are released same day for PC then PlayStation exclusivity is dead.

  4. AmericanLich

Killzone collection for PC, and Bloodborne.

    Literally just free fucking money.

  5. murderplants

Perfect. There is literally no reason to own a console now. PC for the win ❤️

  6. I will double dip Ghost of Tsushima and Ragnarok and others as soon as they come to PC.

  7. Impurity41

They better not release ragnorok on epic games im gonna be pissed

  8. VoidLookedBack

I’ll believe them when I see Ghost of Tsushima on Steam.

  9. This sort of news makes me feel fantastic about building a PC recently. There won’t be much reason to own a non-Nintendo console soon.

Release Demons Souls and Bloodborne on PC cowards!

If I get a Gran Turismo game on PC with VR support I will be a very happy man. As unlikely as that sounds maybe this is just a tiny step closer…

This title is wrong and clickbait

This article headline is conflating two different statements into one to make it deem like it’s a lot more than it is. it’s a clickbait headline

    This is what he says

    >“This is true, but there’s a synergy to it, so if you have strong first-party content – not only on our console but also other platforms, like computers – a first-party [game] can be grown with multi-platform, and that can help operating profit to improve, so that’s another one we want to proactively work on.

    and

    >“I personally think there are opportunities out there for improvement of margin, so I would like to go aggressive on improving our margin performance.”

They are two different statements, he isn’t saying they will be more aggressive with PC releases, just that they want to be aggressive improving profit margins in general

This is the move. This is why XBOX doesn’t care about console sales anymore. They make SO MUCH MONEY off of Game Pass and PC Game Pass that it doesn’t really matter how well consoles sell to them anymore. Sony doing this would be a MASSIVE win and basically a money printer because Sony’s first party lineup is WAY better than Xbox.

  14. TheIngloriousBIG

At least go on mobile, you cowards!

  15. If they ever decided they love money and put bloodborne on PC, I’d be so curious to see how quickly it sells.

They should also consider Ghost of Tsushima. That game was really good and I’d try out the multiplayer elements if it were on PC

When a steam release for an update or a game is a year later it kinda kills the interest to the game for me personally.

  17. ernyc3777

You only have to wait 1 year now instead of 2-3 years.

  18. ArimaKitamura

I know that Bloodborne will never be on PC

  19. Honest_Instruction_1

PC is technically a Microsoft platform so PlayStation 1st parties going to Xbox 😂. What a month we’ve had.

Well if Sony want more games on PC. Well come then Sony Blood born and Dark souls remake on PC NOW. I been waiting to play Demon souls remake before it was even announced but I don´t have 6865 Swedish kroner (652 dollar) to blow on a console to play 1 game.

And people have begged about bloodborn for PC for a long time and even if I have it on my PS4 I kind of agree.

To put both of them on PC Sony if your honest about bringing first party content to PC. Star with does 2 games.

  21. Squaretangles

We all welcome this. In fact, I usually double-dip, as my primary collection is on PC. I own a PS5 because I love playing that new Sony hotness when it drops.

  22. AveryWildman95

The article says nothing about PS putting more games on PC.

    Misinformation.

  23. JohnnyHendo

Sony should try to get however many exclusives they have from the PS1, 2, 3, and PSP playable on PC and release those. People would love to be able to play those games on PC. I would say PS4 and Vita, they can hold off on until the PS6 releases. PS5 games could even be held off until the PS7 releases. Essentially, turn the PC space into a haven for retro PlayStation exclusives. I think Nintendo should do the same thing honestly.

By only releasing the older titles, it’s gets more sales while the current exclusives still help drive console sales.

  24. If both Sony and Microsoft release everything on PC day 1, what’s the point of even owning a console?

  25. Its crazy we still haven’t gotten Bloodborne. Seems like a easy win for them. Something must be beyond fucked for them not to have ported it yet

  26. AchilleDem

Give me the LittleBigPlanet trilogy on PC and I shall forgive you, Sony.

  27. SniffrTheRat

Bloodborne with upscaled graphics for PC = profit

  28. TYNAMITE14

Bloodborne fans be hitting that copium hard rn

  29. Too_Based_

Bloodborne. Nothing Sony does matters until they release an actual playable version of the game on PC.
