    On PS3 back in 2014 I was about done with my first playthrough. I think I was 30-40 hours in deep, that one time I let the co-op setting on which means anyone can enter, hackers dropped in my game and dropped me infinite cash.

    It broke the balance of my save. I had no backups iirc or if I had one, I would’ve went back way too far. I finished the game shortly after but had no motivation to do a NG+(WHICH I PLANNED TO) because I had infinite cash to buy and upgrade anything I wanted.

    I actually liked Riptide. Maybe I should do a mini-reunion with the game eventually.

    I actually liked the original Dead Island, I just thought it was too long. But you can’t beat “free,” right?

    Haha I remember when Riptide was free on Xbox 360 back in the day. Me and my boys joined a lobby with a hacker, were given modded pistols that had insane amounts of damage, and just steamrolled the game.

    Maybe this time ill play it properly, thanks OP!
