    Lol if a non pc enthusiast saw this they’d think it some type of explosive device. Nice work BTW, the attention to detail is superb!

    That’s some wild stuff. Well done!

    There should be a PCMR medal of achievement in it for you and some of the people I’ve seen who take on big custom projects like this.

  4. I love it and I hate it, that’s awesome bro

  5. Somehow my description got deleted, and didn’t post :/

    Nevertheless, this project started out as an idea to have an external watercooler to dump heat outside my room. It grew from there to a custom case. The cooler is mounted on the stool, which during really hot days i move to the hallway. In winter I put it on the chest of drawers.

    The case and cooler is predominantly made from copper, 316 stainless steel with some brass and acrylic. An aquacool QUADRO manages the fan and pump speeds with thermal probs monitoring the water temps. The cooler has three modes, passive, coil fan and coil fan + radiator. It generally operates in the former two modes for general use and light games like Supcom, heavy games the radiator is required for the GPU.

    Generally the cooler is dead quite, and if not I can move it outside ;). The back panel of the case also provides some additional passive cooling as it is soldered to the copper water pipes that run behind the motherboard. It did make cable management hard, but then there’s little about this project that has been easy.

    All in all, I enjoyed building it and am happy with the results. It was frustrating at times, but that goes with the territory.

    PC specs are as follows

    * CPU: Ryzen 7700X
    * GPU: 4090
    * RAM: 64GB 6000mhz CL30
    * SSD: 2TB Sumsung 990 pro

    Oh damn that’s awesome dude! How long did this take you to build? I’ve never seen a build quite like this before.

    Gotta love bare copper electronics. They really have that shock factor.

    A goddamn steam punk PC if I’ve ever seen one. I commend you dude. Refreshing to see stuff like this rather than the same old shit on here.

  11. AlphaTrion810

    Nice, but wished you had gone with copper tubing instead to fit the theme

  12. joshhinchey

    Does that make moonshine as you play Cyberpunk?
