The first pet I ever had was a gecko I named Gex. He got out of his home and my dad found him 4 days later in his slipper. He survived and I loved him. He was named after the game.

I wish they would reboot the Wing commander series, I would buy a PSVR2 tomorrow if I could play wing commander in VR.

Now that brings back memories. I remember my favorite game on that was “Return Fire”. My young mind couldn’t grasp the helicopter, but damn did I love the jeep and the race back to base with the enemy flag.

Huh–I snagged a box of old horror novels on ebay recently, this post clued me in that one of them (Hell by Chet Williamson) is a novelization of a video game.
