Long story short, I killed 3 mega abominations that randomly spawn with frag grenades. Every kill was done by the blast of the frag and none of the 3 times it did count towards this mastery.
Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong? I meticulously shot them until their health is low enough for a grenade to kill but still not working.
UPDATE: I did it. It seems like I have to throw thermite at very low health, like REALLY LOW. It instantly died when thermite touched its mouth and that counts???? Maybe if I have to make it actually swallowed the grenade it won’t work.

The first time I did it, it didn’t work for me as well . Try doing another one same game that’s when my calling card popped.

You need to destroy one of the 3 mouths and throw it in while it tries to beam you

Dumb question but are you throwing it in its mouth or are at its feet? I found out you have to wait till it does the electric charge and then throw it in its mouth

I think it has to be a frag grenade not a semtex or any other explosive
