Rented this at Olympic Hill Rentals for the SNES. Good times.

I remember that game, awesome game. I remember feeling like I’d figured out a cheat when I realized you could evolve and then de-evolve the cheapest horn any time to get a health refill.

When you hurt Flowy in undertale, He Yells OH! that is a Sound Reference to E.v.o Final Boss

Played it through on my old Sega. Evolution trick was a lifesaver, no lie. Underrated gem for sure

My mom would get annoyed that I would keep renting this game and keep playing it.
My fav game on SNES.
Xbox
Oof, core memory unlocked.

[I watched a video about this and the game it’s a spiritual successor to, and their ties to new age religion. It’s a really good watch!](https://youtu.be/M5fIGlzDGpY)
SouloftheWolf
This game and WinBack I rented so many damn times.
Good flashback and memories for sure.

I Remember playing it when internet where uncommon and somehow with my brother we evolved to a homo something but we never could do that again.
It was a great game

Meanwhile, in Seventh Cross Evolution, “These yellow blocks = Human arms. Blue blocks? Tank treads. Evolution.”

Love this game, always heard rumors that there was a sequel, but alas… nothing.
Cutiesaurs
That game needs a remake or a spiritual successor and no I don’t count spore.

I used to love this game as a kid!

Best that game on 12/16/98, which was etched underneath the bunk bed above. Fun times.

I thought this was so cool when I was a kid but I never finished the game. At some point while I was a 4 legged creature I would get stuck not knowing how to progress.
And then I never played it again when I had access to the internet.

Cat jaws, rodent face, ape body…
Without fact checking myself, how close did I get from memory?
Edit: >!apparently it was rodent body + 2 evolves!<.

Greatest snes game that wasn’t actually one of the greats
Manoreded
This game is lovely but it gets rather grindy and repetitive. Also its really, unreasonably hard.
I have cleared it a few times, last time was probably about 2 years ago, I forget.
Also, if we are gonna talk hidden SNES diamonds, Demon Crest is a must.

The way the image loads on my PC screen, the two rock mountains look like giant turds. Gotta scroll down to see what it really is. Lol.

Years ago (2011 or so) ADGQ did a small thing where they were at someone’s house playing for charity and I specifically remember someone playing the game and loving the speed run.
Just him and I think 2 or 3 other commentators but it was such a cool little run, I had the file downloaded and always running in the background along with the other runs from that “event”. Just normally had them on a loop on my computer if I was doing random stuff in the apartment.
I dont know if I will ever find that footage again but I do hope I can one day.

Love this game go much. Found it at a Toys R Us on my birthday that year and read the manual and the pull-out poster the whole ride home. I still have my copy.
Ouchyhangnail
If you’re good with emulation. Try the PC-98 version. It’s a crazy good game
jl_theprofessor
This game was awesome and super weird.

Evolution to the back of the head

I still have my original copy of the game, bought on sale at KB Toys a billion years ago. Still love it!

Every time someone asks “What game do you want a remake of?” This is the game I answer with.

I remember this game, it was incredibly creative and challenging (and weird… the aliens!).
