Nothing to do with PC’s, but Ibanez (guitar company) have to be the worst at this.

Gender got it right. Country it was made in, what year and the body shape. Like a “79 Mexican strat” simple.

    Ibanez are like “RGA8TBK1212FL-R”

I challenge anyone who hasn’t kept up with laptop tech over the past few years to look at an AMD-powered gaming laptop and tell me that it makes sense at a glance compared to what you know about desktop CPUs. Just look at this shit

And this is actually even better compared to the previous gen where the 5500u and 5600u were Zen 2 **and** Zen 3.

The only thing I can applaud AMD for is that at least it’s easy to tell what wattage your CPU will be just by looking at the name.

Edit: I just saw the news about the new Intel Ultra CPUs this is even worse

I think AMD CPU naming schemes are pretty good at least, along with most of Nvidia GPU names (except for the ti super thing wtf was that). Ryzen 3, 5, 7,9. Higher number name=good. Ryzen 5 5500 < Ryzen 5 7600, Intel naming schemes are cancer idk who though up those.

Have you seen sony headphone naming schemes??

People complain about naming schemes, but how would you name a gpu that is 4th gen of its series, a premium version of the midrange flagship that is also an updated version with better power effcientcy and slightly better performance?

Keep in mind your company had a different series before these last 4 gens and you want to separate them.

I blame it on Apple for calling theirs max ultra or pro.
