Am I alone in wishing for an ending in which Johnny is able to safely remain in Vs head? I actually enjoy his feedback during the game and by the end, he becomes a likeable person.

I wish both of your personalities could be merged into a new form: John-V Regularhand.

Yeah, I really wish I could’ve either gotten Johnny uploaded into a synthetic or robotic body or just kept him in my head

Here’s the thing; I really really thought the delamain quest was foreshadowing an ending where you can go all Gogeta/Vegito on Arasaka.

I feel like it’s not the most desirable scenario for Johnny.
As an engram he has no autonomy, at best he can enjoy certain aspects of V’s like with them at worst he’s a third wheel, an intruder in someone’s personal life (if we assume he has good relationship with them because if he doesn’t it’s even worst). Game rarely touches on that but being an engram trapped in someone’s head sounds like a torture, whenever Johnny describes it it sounds terrifying and it probably is knowing he panicked after “waking up” in V’s body and almost killed them both in process.

Johnny doesn’t like it, period. He wants to be his own thing, and as his friend he’d want the same for V, even if it meant dying.
SuperArppis
I would love that as well!

It’s more of a prison than a good thing. Johnny getting his own body and a chance at life again much better out come but he probably wouldn’t be changed that much without Vs sacrifice.
