Yea, reputation is done poorly in this game imo. Despite what rogue and panam says, when V and jackie did their mission, their supposed street cred was fairly low but when you reach 50 street cred, the results are inconsistent, a few examples off the top of my head:
1. The diner robbers actually acknowledge V’s rep and backs down
2. The two gangers messing with a dudes bike also acknowledges V’s rep and backs down
3. Rogue and panam gives you shit with rogue saying no one wants to work with V because they believe V is a fuck up
4. Ozob directly contradicts rogue by calling V up BECAUSE ozob heard V is reliable and gets things done and he only works with the best
5. Literally every other fixer (especially hands) regards V’s skills highly
So yea, inconsistent. Also game wise, yea V screwed up but it is not a static world and you can definitely build your rep back up ect.

I hate the fact, that I’m basically a god amongst men, can 1v1 fucking Adam Smasher, have a dead terrorist teaching me stuff, kissed, almost fucked the queen of afterlife, stole from Konpeki plaza’s luxus suite, kidnapped the female secondary heir of Arasaka, saved a fucking president, killed whole armies, did so many gigs that the best fixers in town ran out, AND STILL I DON’T GET EVEN A SINGLE PIECE, AN ITTY BITTY TWITCH OF RECOGNITION. If the real Aquilar teamed up with fucking Morgan Blackhand, if the battle wasn’t scripted, V still could beat them both. (IF CDPR DOES IT, EVEN WITH JUST ONE, I WANT IT TO BE SCRIPTED, **PLEEEAAAASEE!!!!)**
