Is the best way to describe Cyberpunk type clothing TechWear? or is it something else?

Tekwear is a subset of cyberpunk clothing, but it’s not all of it. It takes a lot of the desirable bits from cyberpunk but ignores the parts that don’t fit.
For example it doesn’t bring in the fusion of many cultures that cyberpunk often sees.
For example, a cheap rain poncho that displays rotating advertisements to reduce it’s cost is also cyberpunk clothing, but not many people would wear it except ironically or because they were really that poor. Poverty is a big part of cyberpunk though.
High tech, low life. A lot of people ignore the second half because it’s inconvenient, especially when you have a product to sell.
