I saved the guy on my first playthrough. Upon sitting back and realizing more about maelstrom (and the biggest factor: I didn’t get any bonus money for saving him and following Lucy’s every fucking whim) I just shot him on every subsequent playthrough because I couldn’t be arsed to care
