My biggest issue with it is impossible difficulty. And I’ve played and completed it three times now lol. Main complaint is I wish there was the old impossible that changed enemy behavior and varied things up. After playing professional on re4 remake, I realized how replay value was lost by not adding a traditional impossible mode.
That being said, this remake is probably one of the best remakes and rivals re1 and 2 remake standards which is far from an easy feat. It doesn’t just put in a fresh coat of paint but outright improves the first game in many ways. It’s really good

They did an excellent job of modernizing the original game: the graphics were amazingly done, the no-loading screen “squeezes” between levels, and the map updates all provided amazing adjustments while maintaining (and I’d say even enhancing) the atmosphere of the original game.
10/10 for sure

Question: is the FOV editable or changed at all in the remake? I tried the original a few years ago, but the closeness of the camera to the character made it unplayable for me. And yes I’m aware that was probably a deliberate choice and this is a me thing, just curious if that aspect was altered in any way.
