I think the best course of action would be silence until year before confirmed release (kinda what fallout 4 did), hope that CDP learned from thier’s mistake.

I can’t believe there’s a game that’s coming out that might not be til I’m in my 50s, and I’m still excited for it.
Educational-Cup7972
sequel when the game is still broken lmao
Vendetta4Avril
Just let them cook this time. CP2077 as it is today is one of my favorite games of all time. I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like to play it the first time through in the state it’s in now.

I bet this still comes out before Elder Scrolls 6!

Should have kept it quiet until 2 years out from release. And shouldn’t stop working on 2077 until 12-18 months after the 5th year of support.
Another big expansion and a dozen or so more features and there’s no doubt in my mind CDPR will have done a Sean Murray with No Man’s Sky.
We’re currently in the 2nd last year of support. Potentially the last, depending on how CDPR wants to count. Whilst 2077 is great it definitely needs another 3 years to make it into something truly special.

I am more than willing to wait like 8 years for this if they really knock it out of the park
Mikedog36
Im gonna have gorilla arms irl by the time it releases
Wave-Kid
OK but can you patch the game so I’m not holding my katana while making out with Panama first please
LOUPIO82
Hopefully they will drop the red engine. What a wonky piece of software

That 2040 release dates inching closer

fuck the rumours, and dont let the corporats influence em
Listen_to_Psybient
How is it different from CDPR in Poland? Are these the same people?
HavenTheCat
I know it will take a long time but I’m so excited for this. I hope they take their time, even though the wait is gonna be painful. It’ll just be better that way if they take all the time that they need to make it great
HotDog2026
I hope they learn their lesson. Goodluck devs

When you use a napkin to soak up as much content as you can.

Seems that they got rid of those who learned from the mistakes of 2077 and did a hard reset, hiring a new team, in another country, with a different philosophosy, not carriyng the lessons from the early mistakes in the first place. Basically assuming that “the others will do best”.
As someone who loved 2077, I’m kind of worried that Orion can be a completely different game, with a different soul. Like the young and sunny Watch Dogs 2 was when compared with the original dark and grumpy Watch Dogs.

Hm… so surely there must be a canon ending if there’s a sequel, yeah? Or maybe a save import option from the previous game for you to continue the story with some of the major choices and maybe some smol ones, i.e., like the Witcher trilogy and Mass Effect trilogy.
soldier_of_death
If it’s just like 10% better than cyberpunk 2077. I’ll be satisfied but know CD Projekt. Next game is always a huge upgrade.
Take a lesson from Larian and release that shit when you’re good and ready, CDPR. And fans need to fucking chill, and learn how to wait for a good thing.
Tymathee
How do you sequel this, V can’t be coming back right? So is our next character W?
