I’m currently building my first PC and was wondering if the GPU comes overclocked and if so can I just leave it as is with no fuss? (This was the GPU I was looking to get)
That is really expensive for a 4070 in usd. You can get a 4070 for 699 CAD. Also, new GPUs are just not worth overclocking for casual gaming as they consume lots of power and the gains are not worth it. It’s like a 2 percent gain for an extra 50 watts
Check out the reviews there is little to no difference in partner cards advertised boost clock across the any of the models in the linked review maybe 3-5% core speed, which is maybe a single to two percent difference in performance. Buy a partner card based on price or other features like fan design.
