Hey guys, not sure if this is the right sub reddit for this.

i was doing a benchmark on my pc to see if anything needed improving, ive watched lots of videos on enabling XMP but when i go into my BIOS the highest frequency i can set my ram to is 2933 Mhz.

The bench doesnt say what rams installed so ive got the link below (4x sticks)

bonus points if you know whats up with the ssd aswell? its about 4 months old

You have a B460 motherboard, max supported RAM speed is 2933MT/s.

Best you can do is tighten up the memory timings to reduce latency. Your primary timings can probably do 14-16-16-32 at 2933MT/s and 1.35 volts. As for your secondary and tertiary timings, please read this guide. Certain timings like tRRD, tRFC, and tWRRD can have substantial performance impact.

In the future try not to rely on userbenchmark. They are known for being extremely Intel biased, and their performance results don’t really reflect real world applications. Literally the only valid use case is comparing your system against itself.
