I ordered everything for my PC. Just waiting on the 4000D air cool case. What am I missing? I feel like I’m going to start building this and realize I forgot a part or something. First time building a PC.

You’re good to go. Enjoy that 7800X3D and 4080 Super!

I don’t think the Apple product is compatible.

A screwdriver, a place to build on or a comfy pillow to sit in while building on the ground, time, patience, a charged up phone to check some things while building, some intolerance for good measure and I see u already organized some apples whenever hunger kicks in. Try to avoid open drinking containers 😉

You’ll know you forgot a piece when it doesn’t turn on 😂 You got this! take out the case and the motherboard manuals or find a youtube video to kind of follow along with if you’re worried you might miss a step! You got this!!!

I had 3 of those Corsair fans and one by one they started making a loud annoying noise and had to replace them.

Every build needs PSU cable extensions. For $30 they make life so much easier and nicer.

A table to build it on!

Take it from me – Your back will thank you for not building it on the floor.

EDIT: Oh, wait – That *is* a table! Kindly ignore me.

Gonna be kind of a tight fit in a 4000D, but should be a great build 🙂

You’re going to need something to put all that in.. a case maybe?

Not a requirement but I still like a HDD to backup my ssds and/or deep storage. I have included them in every build and they just come with me to the next ones.

Table, allen wrench, thermal paste applicator, tweezers, Swiss Army Knife that hopefully has a Phillips head screwdriver in it

a swiss knife that hopefully has a screwdriver

  14. good tip if it’s your first build: the CPU will take quite a lot of pressure to press down so you just want to check that you have everything right and bring the lever down hard. it might also make a slight cracking or popping noise.

it was extremely scary to me for my first build but idk if this is your first

I recommend a 2nd NVME, smaller one like 500GB, make that your C Drive, do not put any programs on it. That way if anything happens to windows or that drive you lose nothing in case you need to format the drive.

  16. I was considering picking up a 4080 super myself, but I was told my 850 gold Corsair PSU wasn’t enough and to go for 1000. Any truth to this?
