Temps always sat in the 80-85c range. I’ll do better next time!

    Yeah you’re supposed to spread it. However if it was only 80c must’ve been flat

    I didn’t think you were supposed be to is Liquid Metal on an IHS. From everything I have read it’s for delided or bare CPUs.

    Edit: the picture shows a cpu that is not delided.

    Corsair AIO ? I had, and still have, the same setup. Delided + repasted with liquid metal, corsair AIO, 7700k. I did use mx-4 between the IHS and AIO thought.

    Ran at 5ghz for like 5 years at this point, what a beast !

  6. Was you cold plate nickel coated? On my pure copper cold plates I need to reapply LM about 3 times over 18 months…then it could go years.
