Do I want a card that’s worth it’s performance and comes with DP 2.1 or a card that costs twice as much but supports tech that’s still in it’s infancy and looks comparable to traditional rendering with a massive hinderance to performance?
Plus, I’m still surprised by the people that act like frame-gen is a deal-breaking feature. Yeah, I’ll take my normal framerate without the extra latency and artifacts, but thanks lol.

I kinda draw the line when a GPU costs more than my whole PC Including the case. Prices are just getting out of hand for GPUs with at least 16gb vram. And we need 16gb nowadays, it should be the new norm.

I was a sucker for buying a 3070. That first year or so it was great. Then games started using more than 8gb of vram for games and it was a stuttering nightmare.
Got a 7900XT and have 0 regrets. Especially after the shitty Super launch. 4070Ti Super duper can’t even touch my card.

The 4070ti was $800 minimum at the time, not sure now. And even more expensive for any model worth a damn
The 7900xt outperforms the 4070ti in everything but RT and large scale productivity. One of which I don’t need, the other I don’t care about

Buy whatever you like. Amd is better for budget, Nvidia has the better brand and is necessary for anything involving heavy raytracing and CUDA. I don’t care about raytracing and CUDA, so I bought a Rx 6800. Works fine. Don’t care about anything else.
