Yes! I’m so glad this isn’t just me. It’s happened a few times. I’ve gone back to remove the silencer and it’s suddenly a tier 1. Don’t know why but it’s annoying AF!
I can’t say for sure if they were tier 4 or tier 5 initially. Either way, it’s frustrating
Yes, it’s a bug. It’s happened to me as well, though not recently.

I noticed this happening to me as well, I’m not 100% sure but I believe it happens when you finish a mission or something like that

I have had entire weapons go from legendary to tier 1 before. After reloading they were back to normal.
It’s happened to me with scopes and silencers. I’ve had it happen mostly when I drop them in storage, and it’s happened when I completed story missions too. Not sure why or how outside of it being a really annoying bug
