so i just bought palworld on steam a couple of days ago and ever since I bought it I have been noticing some intense FPS drops when I’m playing it, I don’t know if it’s the same for y’all but for me it’s that,
I have a HP Pavilion 15 gaming laptop with a RTX 3050 under the hood, so I think that’s enough to run the game at at least a smoothly 1080/60 FPS but for some reason that ain’t the case,
they said that this laptop can handle up to 120 FPS in 1080P when I bought it, but the game dips between 10-40 FPS Even at the lower settings and 1080P, i’m going to post my specs down below so someone can comment what u think is the problem.

Hello Benttugamer1992, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

Double check that it’s actually running in 1080p. The second image is listing a 4k resolution
short answer it’s the game.
Yeah probably the game, any unoptimized early access its not going to run well on an entry level system.
2nd the comment about resolution, but you should never just trust marketing people making random claims.
“this laptop can handle up to 120 FPS in 1080P” means absolutely nothing, but a youtube search for “RTX 3050 mobile benchmark” will get you a sea of videos that will show you how the thing actually performs.
