there was a moment in the original Vanilla WoW. My very first character had just entered a new zone, a volcano, lava type zone. the path in to the zone had you overlooking the whole zone, and I got there right as the music swelled, with the sun beaming thru the ash clouds… even though it wasn’t the best graphics… it all hit *just* right. I sat there for a minute or two just taking it in.

  20. The entire maps for the first 3 Pokemon games. I played them for hundreds of hours as a kid and I still replay randomizer versions of them today. I know every location in those games. Getting to the big cities is like a nice safe spot. Spent so much time running up and down to hatchet eggs. Caught every Pokemon In every corner of the map and explored the parts that don’t even have anything. To this day I know where the best camp site is in ruby and sapphire. I just finished red and silver randomizers last year. I’m working on emerald right now. I also just restarted black and white 2 with a little bit of ultra sun because those games I didn’t play as much. They came out when I was in my 20’s and working myself to death. Now I’m in my 30’s I want to recapture that joy I had.

Pokemon silver was the first game I ever bought myself using my allowance that I had to work for.

Also Skyrim and the Mojave wasteland. I could draw those maps by memory.
