Just built a 6600 xt/5600x system for my daughter. Runs actually pretty great, @1080p of course.
Excellent budget build, will actually crush 1080p.

I got pretty much the same specs. Handles 1080p really well!
Great setup. Just built one with my teenager. I had him install the fans, seat the cpu and memory. Also the m.2’s. Got him involved as much as i could. Happy gaming!

Only difference is the GPU. He’s saving for that so he’s undecided on which one to buy
Very solid, though it may have been better to get a current gen cpu/ram/mobo. Then again, that would be likely significantly more expensive given how these components are probably on sale now. I have a 5600x and it’s running great and I’m using DDR4 and a 2070s, and I’ve yet to have any need to upgrade.
Overall, more than enough for solid framerates on good settings for the foreseeable future!
This is really similar to what my son has, crushes all his favorite games at 1080p
