So i am new to overclocking. I have a Asus tuf gaming oc edition 4070ti super. I did the msi afterburner oc but in 3d mark port royal my score was low . So now i did change some thing myself to see if that is ok anyone able to help me know if this is ok or too much please let me know .
Now my score says this i dont see any flickering or glitching while watching port royal run so am i doing this ok or is those numbers to high of a overclock on my system. Also im running a ryzen 9 5900x cpu.
Here is my port royal score

Make sure the temperatures are fine. Use HWInfo for the monitoring I’d say and run port royal 3-5 times in a loop to check for temperature behavior. 3D Mark is not good at displaying actual gaming performance and stability. It is a good 1st giveaway of instability or bad OC but definitely not enough! I’d say download OCCT and change the settings to stop on errors, then do a 3D Standart test for around 30 minutes to find deeper errors.
In my experience you can use certain games to test for stability faster than OCCT. I found that EAC games can be very fast at finding errors, dont ask me why, could be placebo but I just found it works for me.
Always keep the temperature in check and if theres any stutters or crashes then you have to lower the oc. If any errors show up in OCCT then its also not stable, there is no point in gpu oc where you can say: “it is only 1% unstable so I can play with it” but if it shows the slightest bit of instability you should lower the oc.
