Also they unequipped a bunch of my cyberware. I can’t pick up the extra weapon from Regina, and some locations are mistregistering when I enter them as locations close by.

Makes sense honestly. Car is on while you’re in it, powers the color projection. Car is off when you’re not in it, no power to color projection.
On the other hand, this is still really awesome.
I will honestly miss the weird bugs and glitches in these patches. What started as its bane has definitely evolved into endearing and goofy.

Idk why people are confused it’s called cloaking. Like you wanna escape the cops so you change the color. It’s not going into Los Santos customs fam.
It’s cool and all but I really hope they add it for other cars. If they added a feature that people have asked for for years and then lock it to two cars only that would suck.

Pfft I’ll just stuck with mods. How can they update the game to let us change our face, hair color, etc but not let us change the color for our car? Just seems odd.
Listen I get that “it’s cloaking so it’s only a temporary change” but that’s still kinda lame considering how all of the systems are there, except a painter. I refuse to believe that no one in night city paints cars.

But until CDPR update the crystalcoat tech to be permanent, imo it’s useless.

I am glad they made a step towards customisation, but please don’t pretend like this feature is not half-assed.
Some people are acting like the earth will open up and swallow them, if they utter even a single word of criticism towards the game.
Like I said, I’m glad they made a step forward, but let’s hope they iron out these things and apply it to every car. I said it before, and I say it again, I’d even pay for it as a DLC. I’m not greedy. But not being able to take photos of your customised cars while not riding them, is weird.
If yall are worried about the “realism” of it then you’re forgetting the core of game design. Yes it makes sense, but that’s not fun and you know it. Getting what you want and having fun with it are more important than making sense.
